The Carriage Factory Art Gallery will host “Lasting Impressions – Hand Pulled Original Prints” featuring prints by Prairie Press Printmakers Founder and Director Doug Billings, and other Prairie Press members. “Lasting Impressions” will also have prints from the Springdale Art & Nature Center print show.

Meet and greet receptions with the artists will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 23; 6-8 p.m. Saturday, July 24; and 1-3 p.m. Sunday, July 25 at the gallery.

Doug Billings has taught printmaking at MarkArts in Wichita since 2000. He belongs to several national print organizations including the Society for American Graphic Artists, the American Color Print Society, the Boston Printmakers, the Print Consortium and American Print Alliance. Billings creates and teaches works using relief printmaking, reduction block prints, intaglio printmaking, aqua tints, and lithography.
