Artist's Statement

Sara Grant Brown is a self-taught, Midwest based artist. The majority of her works are in color pencil, although she enjoys mixed media. In addition, she is an educator and mother of three. 

Brown specializes in commission portraiture and drawings that echo emotion. Many of her works are inspired by the emotions of daily life and the small things that often go unnoticed. She currently works out of her studio in Wichita, Kansas.
