Artist's Statement

Stained glass has become a passion of mine after learning the art from my father. I started the small business of Patina Glass Works in 2018. I love doing the copper foil method of stained glass, but I also do fusing with a kiln. I enjoy working with clients in helping them create a vision for their home by doing mainly commission pieces. Glass is unique from any other medium because it changes with different light. Natural sunlight makes the pieces truly shine. A stained glass piece in a window will change throughout the day, depending on the sun, clouds, etc.
