IF YOU KNOW ME…

you know that art and music are my way of living…an act of prayer and an act of kindness in the world…

you know that I keep coming back to the art, to words, to working with my hands, and to making melodies….a journey that is ever changing.

you know that I can’t help creating and making connections…connections between the bleakness of a winter field and a person who has felt the heartache of loss, connections between the spaces of light in prairie grass and a person who has an open heart… 

you know that art and music heal me, slow my pace and help me be less antsy in the world…

you know I have a love affair with India ink.

you know I believe that art and music invite mystery and wonder…

you know I believe art and music help people feel less lonely in the world.

you know I believe art changes and heals me (us).

you know that I believe that art builds bridges where there are differences.
