Artist's Statement

My name is Jack Boese. I’m a native Kansan, born in Moundridge and graduated from Newton High. I’ve attended Kansas colleges: Hutch Juco, Bethel, and WSU. In 1966 I enlisted in the army and served until 1975. In ‘75 I married my high school sweetheart and worked for 20 years for a local construction company in Newton. In 1995, I started my own construction company and retired 23 years later. I have been married twice, outliving both of my wonderful wives, and now reside at beautiful Marion County Lake. I travel, fish, and paint oil on canvas for you and me. Hope you enjoy my art as much as I enjoy doing it!
