Andy Brown
Artist's Statement
Andy Brown has been actively painting since the mid 90s. He works with geometric shapes and primary colors. Each painting dominated in turn by blue, yellow, red and green. Many of the works reveal experiments with the Golden Mean ratio and Fibanocci numbers.
Andy graduated in 1974 from KU with a BFA in Painting and Sculpture. He retired in 2016 from Via Christi working in IT. Andy resides in North Newton.
