“Kansas Through the Eyes of an Artist” Opening

Join us to celebrate the opening of Carriage Factory Art Gallery’s second annual juried exhibit, “Kansas Through the Eyes of an Artist,” at 7 p.m. Jan. 19.

Artists included in the exhibit are Velera Adams, Kayann Ausherman, Susan Bartel, JoAnn Swearingen Boling, Aaron Jackson Bowman, Jean Cook, David Ediger, Maleta Forsberg, Marilyn Friesen, Constance Gehring, Barbara Haynes, Pam Hayes, Beth Hostetler, Diane L. Lawrence, R. Allan Lister, Skyler Lovelace, Gail Lutsch, Mary Johnson, Kelly Nachtigal, Bob Neace, Tim Otter, Bob Regier, Lamar Roth, Kathleen Schroeder, Jim Simpson, Jeffery Sparks, Kent Stucky, Kathy Waltner, Peggy Wambold, Kristyn Wedel, Jennifer Weigel, Carol Zerger

The exhibit will include pastels, oils, watercolors, acrylics, photography and mixed media.

The prizes for the top pieces total $650 and were donated by local businesses and individuals. First place winner will be awarded $300, with $200 for second place, $100 for third place and $50 for honorable mention.

Works featured in the exhibit are available for purchase.
