Artist's Statement

Born and raised in rural northwest Pennsylvania, E. B. grew up with a deep love for the forests, rivers, animals, and birds nears her home. Now residing in Kansas, she enjoys the beauty of the Midwest crops and the open sky.

She is a graduate of Geneva College in Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education. Her love of mathematical designs and Christian faith often influences her artwork which consists of digital art, sketches, photography, and Pysanky (Ukrainian Eggs).

The heart of her photography is to capture a small part of the amazing and complex beauty of the world around us. This is not limited to only nature, but also includes original designs and photographs capturing the human experience.

Beyond her camera, E.B. is also a talented musician, composer, and writer.
